Really bad day today.
Had photo workshop, that wasn't the bad part. But my cf card died somehow and my hdd got infected with trojans (yes trojans and not a trojan). Decided to skip school and come home so that I could fix up my computer as much as I could.
And halfway while printing my notes my printer stopped working. Upon closer inspection I realise that the string thing in the printer is damaged beyond repair. My printer is obsolete.
I was actually spending my time researching on a bag that I want to get. Will have to order it online and get it shipped to home because it is only sold in Europe. Price-wise, I've found good deals but I still doubt the reliability. Plus 200+ dollars is not a small sum to play with.
And the 100 that I just earned (the rest is in cheque so it's untouchable) is all burnt because a printer will cost that much, and I hope the shop will rpelace my cf card for me.
But worst case scenario is that I buy everything brand new. Spent the rest of the night looking for shops to buy my printer at (going to buy a similar and about to go out of production model... I'm like that) and going to skip school tomorrow to. Partly because I have no notes, and partly because I'm going to spend my time calling up all the shops in SLS and FM and checking for the availability of the printer. And calling up the cf card retailer.
And friday after school will be spent repairing/buying those items.
Oh and did I mention? I haven't backed up the photos in my cf card so essentially all photos taken are gone. That includes the previous post pics since I have not transferred them to my camera. Means I got to bank heavily on others' shots = a lot more editing to be done.
Man. I just hope nothing else will go wrong.
