Mad is nearly burnt out but she's currently laughing like mad! Enjoying the work that I have, yet feeling uber stressed. Must be the evil clutches of school work that is causing all these problems :S
Listening to one of the songs for V Day! Kev was hilarious. In our first recording of the song I went "Eh?" at the beginning of the song; it was pretty loud and those who heard it had a good laugh. In the latest draft, Kev went "Eh?" in the beginning of the track. LOL! I keep laughing everytime I hear it. I think the leaders' band is fun! Simply because we've worked together so often till we hear similar things, we sense similar movements in worship. Not to say that we are good, but it's the unity in the team that makes it really fun. Somehow I feel really spoilt. Jassy Jas Jas I miss playing with you :( Hai dai ar hai dai!
Photoshoot this morning was dreadfully tiring but yet, I enjoyed almost every moment of it. Having a DSLR in my hands really made A LOT of difference. Gone were the slow shutter speeds, the high noise, shaky images and passable depth. Actually I still love my P&S (Point and shoot la! The small one). I think it's a really good cam. BUT after using the basic dslr today..... Woah! I could just snap immediately, images were very decent. Little shake, little noise at high iso, very very very pretty colours. Of course the risk of overexposure was much higher this time. But that's not the point. And to top it off...... THE DEPTH WAS AWESOME! I look at the photos I took and I'm falling in love with them. I still think my camera eye needs help. But the dslr quality, the depth that it gives me, it blows me away. Too bad I was on auto mode. Didn't have much time to try out the cam so I didn't want to risk fiddling around with the manual mode and messing up the pics.
So photoshoot, we went around Singapore to get different shots. It was really hot weather. But we made it through. The 3 of us who weren't the models had fun being the sidekicks of our models. Right now I'm satisfied with the quality of the photos. But as usual, I'm not satisfied with the way I took it :( Tues I will start editting the photos, that's when my brains come in. I can't do much now because my laptop is protesting and not allowing me to set screen settings to default for me to start work. I'm glad for this opportunity to be the photographer though. It feels really weird when I started out thinking that cameras were cheapo things which I just stick out in front of me and press the button. But at least now I understand it somewhat better.
No photos yet becaue I haven't started editting. I have to wake up in less than 5 hours but I don't know why I'm not sleeping. I think I'm really feeling the pressure of everything. It seems that all of a sudden I have a lot of things to do. Not that I'm complaining though. It's fun. But yet, it's the part about keeping up with school work that is tough. I'm trying but I can't find the motivation or the time to continue mugging. What happened to the mugger mad???
So yep. It's been a really long weekend for me. I hope really to survive past this week since tutorials are starting and it seems that I'm going to be really busy outside too. Ah well. The spirit is willing but the eyes are complaining. I replenished my supply of panadol so it shouldn't be that bad.
Okk the stomach wants the toilet.

A rough photo from the cam. Look at the sharp/blur parts! Plus this place was pretty dark! Woohoo!!! I love the cam!
