Looking back at 2007, I must say that God has been evident in my life. Without Him, I would not be still the Mad I am. I might not look it, but I've had a lot going on in my life this year. Without His strength, I probably would be dreading each day as I wake up. But obviously that isn't the case (though I dread waking up in general). So, To God be the glory, for all He has done in my life.
I thank God, also, for providing me with friends this year who make me laugh. I have no idea why they come in the form of boys, but nonetheless, it's made my year more interesting. I will continue to invest my time in these friendships this new year.
In the year 2008, I wouldn't say it will be a year of immense satisfaction and happiness. I'd just, first and foremost, like to survive the year unscathed. May I finally move on with my life and forget what is behind. I think I can do that. I think I'm happy with the friends I have, I wouldn't ask for too much, because I myself can't be a good friend to too many people. I only have so much I can give. So I shouldn't be greedy and ask for anything more. I'd like to be happy though. I've had fun, joy and laughter, loads of it, but I'd really like to be happy. Well, if God permits I will. Till then, I shall make do with the laughter then.
