Tired is an understatement. Then again, what's new?
Was actually planning to mug today after service before jap, but ended up going out for lunch with some other leaders at Subway. I knew I wouldn't be able to order a decent meal there. Because my sandwich must NOT have a tinge of veggie. I ordered mine and jas' together, so the sandwiches were made together. And her veggies crossed over to mine. EWWWWW Quite funny actually, when you have a bunch of leaders gathering together in a plce where youths are unlikely to appear (Youths normally go fast food restaurants), we will start whining about the youths :D Was fun to hear about the other age groups and behaviours and what-nots. I realise that for my group, even though the distribution in ecas is not gender-biased, but during FUEL me and my co-leader will naturally take the boys and girls respectively. Honestly if I can barely handle the boys, my sweet and... much less violent co-leader will have a tough time trying to control them.
Was helping Mich up on stage today. I must admit it was fun. Even though at times my eyes widened beyond mikey's potential eyesize, but overall she did pretty well for a first-time serving musician. It's been like 3 months since I actually played 2nd though. Am getting VERY rusty. Sheesh. Add one more thing to my to-do list. Brush up on my keys, 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th and everything!
Pgary preached an interesting sermon which hit a bit too close to home for me. Not his message though, but something on the side that he mentioned made me space out and think for a while. Ah well, parts of my life that I'm not ready to share.
So that was my day. I suspect that my contacts are starting to grow mould considering that I haven't used them for 2 weeks. Yucks. I'm so throwing them away and opening a new set. Maybe I should just get new glasses (without peeling paint!) and ditch the whole idea of contacts. I'm too lazy to wash my contacts in the first place, which pretty much deters me from putting them on.
Mugging is fun. Not. Eating potato chips to prepare to become a chair potato in 2 weeks time.
Each exam paper is a battle. You battle against the questions, against time (Not significant in my case), against your own knowledge and intelligence. I have 5 battles to fight. Each one no less easier than the other.
