Got my marks for computing. (And my paper for Mathematical Analysis 3 weeks ago hasn't even been returned yet!). Did decently well *whew* Enough of rabbits I tell you! But for the exam I need to buck up. Marks are very very volatile because in a computing paper you either get it or you don't. There's no bluffing through should I get a mental block. So, jia you! One thing I'm glad is that because I like reading my computing book for leisure purposes, I don't really have to spend too much time revising. It's all about understanding anyways. It's open book all the way.
Lecturer was amusing when he went through the computing test questions today (we haven't gotten back our paper yet) He was saying :" Change one arrow only you get 4 marks! What a good deal!!" And we all went -_-" To change the arrow firstly we had to read through and interpret the WHOLE code correctly :S Then we had to draw bunny objects for the recursion program. Normally one would draw boxes, but apparantly someone drew real bunnies in his/her test paper! I like this lecturer la. I think he's really good at what he teaches. And it makes me more interested to learn.
Am mugging for my nanotech module because I have a term test this thurday. Sheesh, last week of school and I still have tests, not to mention a practical exam this Saturday. How wonderful. People are already staying at home to study and I still have to go to school for lectures and what-nots.
Met up with meng for lunch today since I had a break from 12-2 and she from 12-6. I dragged her for 2 of my lectures too since she was free. Had a good time catching up. We are so going back to our sec school for orange bowl, and yu pian mian xian, and blue bowl, and cheese toast and everything that we liked back there.
After the 2pm lecture me grace meng and another unnamed guy were hanging out at the canteen. That guy takes the next part to computing so I was asking him about the workload and what-nots. Seems that 1102 is harder than 1101 (I take computing 1101 now), and that 20 hours on one assignment is the norm. Oh no... And try and catch expections are inbuilt into the programmers :S:S:S:S My lecturer just taught it today and I had no darn idea what he was talking about after the lecture.
Ah well :) While I'm still enjoying computing I must not forget my other subjects. Mug Mug Mug!
Oh yeah, darn ulcer on the tip of my tongue. Doesn't help that my bottom front teeth are crooked and rather sharp. Ulcer meets sharp edge all the time = ouch.
I think I'm pretty impressive. One blog post ~500 words. And it doesn't take very much out of me. One 500-word essay sucks the life out of me.
Alright alright. Study!
