I finally finished my birthday program. The results came out wonky because of a single 2 word line!!!! Placed one line too early!!! ARGH What a difference just what a mere one line can do to destroy the whole program. And waste a good amount of my time tweaking all the 128 line code. Sheesh! Was reading in the newspaper today that Windows vista is written using 45 million lines of code. I was like... WHAT? I'm having enough trouble with a 100-line program and the experts make one 450000 times the size of mine.
I was pretty surprised today to find that two of my not-so-close friends were actually siblings! I knew they were pretty close for good friends, but it didn't occur to me that they were siblings until the brother said so. Scary. If I went to school together with my brother I'd be pretty annoyed. Good thing my bro and I don't study the same things. My friends do though. I wonder how they survive each other.
I want to watch the number 23 movie. It looks like a horror movie yes, but from the trailer annie ang was telling me that it's just a show about this guy's obssession with the number 23. Sounds interesting to me then, since there doesn't seem to be works of some supernatural object, and besides, I think the show introduces the subtle existance of numbers in our daily lives. Interesting. I'm curious to find out more, yet I'm not confident that I'm ready to see all the gore.
I've got a new program to write. It's on making a game of sudoku. Darn, I don't even like the game in the first place. Sure it's a game of numbers, but its just a game of 9 different objects, it need not be numbers. I don't have any interest in it at all. Yet we all have to play it in order to be able to write the program. So, can anyone tell me how on earth do you solve the darn puzzle? It's practically greek to me, or closer to home, its econs/history/geog/lit to me. This week I make the game, next week my program must solve the game. I think that's worse. I don't even feel like starting to think about the program.
Lunching with dad tomorrow! Yay! I dread waking up though.
