In the end I went out with my class yesterday for the outing. The girls all backed out, leaving 6 guys and 2 girls ( I had to go otherwise army talk will bore grace out). Guys are stupid. Scratch that. My class guys are stupid. Save for boss. After watching a terrible movie, grace wanted to go for cake so we were going to part ways from the guys. But guys being guys, they spent like, 1/2 hour deciding where next to go and still couldn't decide. All this while we were just standing around near the escalators. In the end grace and I went to browse some shops and boss happily drifted away. And we went one round of walking through all the shops, and the guys were brainlessly ( I SAY BRAINLESSLY) following us until we came back to the same place we started at. We decided to have swensen's ice cream in the end. The good thing was that all our meals were paid for. Except the movie. Some officers decided to be generous and give the whole bunch a treat. Oh yeah, the people who turned up, ended up to be the few of us who used to hand out together a lot in our jc days. And boss. No one can forget boss. He stopped responding to the word 'boss' though. It felt so weird to say his name.
We watched ghostrider. It's a terrible movie. Please don't watch it. I suspect it's even demonic. Too bad I didn't know what it was until they bought the tickets and I was in the cinema. I spent most of the show wincing and closing my eyes. And it gave me a very restless night, kept waking up from nightmares. Which explains my eyebags this morning. It may be a hit among people, but I don't think it can be very good, especially when I feel the movie can easily be rated nc-16 instead of pg.
Today FUEL was fun! We had this gel, where there was this rafia string held up to chest level high. We were supposed to get our people across the rope as soon as possible, without touching the rope and no one was to go underneath. It was a whole lot of fun throwing people across the room. I think I sprained my ankle while doing so though. The other section had a challenge to send the cccb over. They did, nearly dropping him in the process. The person in charge didn't see zc, otherwise the kids would have a much harder time sending him over. Great gel! It was super fun.
I'm starting to feel slightly overworked. And I haven't been doing much lately. Ah well, back to school it is. Back to chionging all the way. Let's just hope my energy lasts another 9 weeks more.
